Terms of use for Virginia Beach, VA
Last updated October 27, 2026.
The service
Virginia Beach Roof Guide is a free referral service for residential roof replacement, repair and inspection in Virginia Beach, VA, and for Chesapeake and Norfolk as described on those pages. We are not a contractor. We do not install, inspect or supervise roofing work, and we make no promises about any contractor's work.
What a request does not do
We do not quote a price, inspect the roof ourselves, or perform any roofing work. We pass contact details to one independent licensed roofing contractor after you agree. You can note a good time for that contractor to follow up. Any estimate, contract, warranty or payment is between you and the contractor you choose.
Your contract is with the contractor
Verify the contractor's license on the DPOR License Lookup before you hire them. Guides and cost figures on this site are general information from the sources named on each page. They are not legal, engineering or financial advice, and they are not a quote.
Permit rules vary by address
Which city or county reviews your permit, and which of its rules apply, depends on your address. The location pages cite the sources. Your local building department, not this site, is the final word on what your project needs.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Virginia Beach Roof Guide is not liable for work performed by any contractor or for decisions you make based on information on this site.
